✧ The prohibition of killing

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَلَاءِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ عَنْ الْأَعْمَشِ عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ مَسْرُوقٍ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «لَا أُلْفِيَنَّكُمْ تَرْجِعُونَ بَعْدِي كُفَّارًا يَضْرِبُ بَعْضُكُمْ رِقَابَ بَعْضٍ لَا يُؤْخَذُ الرَّجُلُ بِجَرِيرَةِ أَبِيهِ وَلَا بِجَرِيرَةِ أَخِيهِ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I shall not find you reverting after me to disbelief, striking one another's necks. No man is to be seized for the offense of his father or the offense of his brother.”
