✧ Seeking Laylat al-Qadr in the ninth, seventh, and fifth

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكٌ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أُرِيَ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي الْمَنَامِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَرَى يَعْنِي رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَمَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

Translation

✧ A man among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ saw Laylat al-Qadr in a dream in the last seven nights. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I see – meaning your dreams – that they agree upon the last seven. Whoever is seeking it, let him seek it in the last seven.”
