✧ Seeking Laylat al-Qadr in the ninth, seventh, and fifth

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

أُرِيَ رِجَالٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فِي الْمَنَامِ أَنَّ لَيْلَةَ الْقَدْرِ فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «أَسْمَعُ رُؤْيَاكُمْ قَدْ تَوَاطَأَتْ أَنَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ فَمَنْ كَانَ مُتَحَرِّيَهَا فَلْيَتَحَرَّهَا فِي السَّبْعِ الْأَوَاخِرِ»

✧ Some men among the companions of the Prophet ﷺ saw in a dream that Laylat al-Qadr was in the last seven nights of Ramadan. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “I see that your dreams agree that it is in the last seven. Whoever is seeking it, let him seek it in the last seven.”
