al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 3305

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَبِيبِ بْنِ عَرَبِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ عَنِ الرَّبَابِ

عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ يَرْفَعُهُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا أَفْطَرَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى تَمْرٍ فَإِنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ فَلْيُفْطِرْ عَلَى مَاءٍ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ»

✧ From Salman b. Amir, raising it to the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "When one of you breaks his fast, let him break it with dates, and if he does not find any, then with water, for water is purifying."
