أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قُتَيْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ «إِذَا وَجَدْتُمُ التَّمْرَ فَأَفْطِرُوا عَلَيْهِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدُوا التَّمْرَ فَالْمَاءُ فَإِنَّ الْمَاءَ طَهُورٌ»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "When you find dates, break your fast with them. If you do not find dates, then with water, for water is purifying."
