أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا خَالِدٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ حَبِيبٍ عَنْ لَيْلَى عَنْ جَدَّةِ حَبِيبٍ
أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا فَأَتَتْهُ بِطَعَامٍ فَقَالَ لَهَا كُلِي فَقَالَتْ إِنِّي صَائِمَةٌ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ الصَّائِمَ إِذَا أُكِلَ عِنْدَهُ صَلَّتْ عَلَيْهِ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَفْرُغُوا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ entered upon her and she brought him food. He said to her, "Eat." She said, "I am fasting." He said, "When a fasting person has food eaten in his presence, the angels send blessings upon him until they finish."
