أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدَةُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْوِصَالِ رَحْمَةً قَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدِكُمْ يُطْعِمُنِي رَبِّي وَيَسْقِينِي»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade continuous fasting out of mercy for them. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, you practice continuous fasting." He said, "I am not like any of you; my Lord feeds me and gives me drink."
