أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَاصَلَ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ فَنَهَاهُمْ عَنِ الْوِصَالِ فَقَالُوا إِنَّكَ تُوَاصِلُ قَالَ «إِنِّي لَسْتُ مِثْلَكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى»
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ practiced continuous fasting during Ramadan, and the people also practiced continuous fasting. He forbade them from it, and they said, "You practice continuous fasting." He said, "I am not like you; I am fed and given drink."
