أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا حِبَّانُ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «رُبَّ صَائِمٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ صِيَامِهِ إِلَّا الْجُوعُ وَرُبَّ قَائِمٍ لَيْسَ لَهُ مِنْ قِيَامِهِ إِلَّا السَّهَرُ» [349] 3237 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْمَخْرَمِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ آدَمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءٌ 3238 أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَاتِمٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدٌ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ أُسَامَةَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَوْلَهُ مِثْلَهُ سَوَاءً وَلَمْ يَرْفَعْهُ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ said: "Many a fasting person gets nothing from his fasting except hunger, and many a standing (in prayer) person gets nothing from his standing except sleeplessness." [349] 3237 Muhammad b. Abdullah al-Makhrami informed us; he said: Yahya, meaning Ibn Adam, narrated to us; he said: Ibn al-Mubarak narrated to us from Usamah from Sa'id from Abu Hurayrah, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the like of it, exactly. 3238 Muhammad b. Hatim informed us; he said: Suwayd informed us; he said: Abdullah informed us from Usamah b. Zayd from Sa'id al-Maqburi from Abu Hurayrah as his statement, the like of it, exactly, and he did not raise it to the Prophet.
