أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي يُونُسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ نُبَاتَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ ثَعْلَبَةَ بْنِ صُعَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ لَمْ يَدَعْ قَوْلَ الزُّورِ وَالْعَمَلَ بِهِ وَالْجَهْلَ فَلَيْسَ لِلَّهِ حَاجَةٌ أَنْ يَدَعَ طَعَامَهُ وَلَا شَرَابَهُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ وَلَا أَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ غَيْرَ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ إِنْ كَانَ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَحْيَى يَحْفَظُهُ عَنْهُ

✧ That the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Whoever does not abandon false speech and acting upon it, and ignorance, then Allah has no need for him to abandon his food and drink." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: This is a rejected hadith, and I do not know anyone who narrated this hadith from al-Zuhri other than Ibn Abi Dhi'b, if Yunus b. Yahya memorized it from him.
