أَخْبَرَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ هِلاَلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «احْتَجَمَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was cupped while fasting. Yunus b. Abd al-A'la informed us, he said: Ibn Wahb narrated to us, he said: Ibn Abi Dhi'b narrated to me, from al-Hasan b. Zayd, from Ikrimah, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet ﷺ “was cupped while fasting.”
