أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِهِ عَنْ ابْنِ بُريدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ»

The Prophet ﷺ as saying: A man who cups and a man who gets himself cupped break their fast. Abu Dawud said: Ibn Thawban transmitted a similar tradition from his father on the authority of Makhul through an chain of narrators mentioned by him. (Using translation from Abū Dāʾūd 2371)
