أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ
عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «أَفْطَرَ الْحَاجِمُ وَالْمَحْجُومُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا عَلِمْتُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ اللَّيْثَ وَلَا بُكَيْرَ بْنَ أَبِي السُّمَيْطِ عَلَى رِوَايَتِهِمَا وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ رَوَاهُ عُمَرُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ قَتَادَةَ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ
Translation

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, he said: "The cupper and the cupped have broken the fast." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I do not know that anyone concurred with al-Layth or Bukayr b. Abi al-Sumayt regarding their narration, and Allah knows best. Umar b. Ibrahim narrated it from Qatadah, from al-Hasan, from Ali, from the Prophet ﷺ.
