أَخْبَرَنَا حُمَيْدُ بْنُ مَسْعَدَةَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ زُرَيْعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عَوْنٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ
عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ وَمَسْرُوقٍ قَالَا أَتَيْنَا عَائِشَةَ فَقُلْنَا يَا أُمَّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ أَكَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ؟ قَالَتْ قَدْ كَانَ يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ وَلَكِنَّهُ كَانَ أَمْلَكَ لِإِرْبِهِ مِنْكُمْ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَوَاهُ الْمُغِيرَةُ وَحَمَّادٌ فَقَالَا عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ

✧ From al-Aswad and Masruq who said, "We came to Aisha and said, 'O Mother of the Believers, would the Prophet ﷺ engage in foreplay while fasting?' She said, 'He used to do that, but he had more control over his desire than you.'" Abu Abd al-Rahman said, "Al-Mughirah and Hammad narrated it and said: From al-Aswad, from Aisha."
