أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ نَاجِيَةَ أَبِي خُفَافٍ عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ قَالَ

أَجْنَبْتُ وَأَنَا فِي الْإِبِلِ فَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَاءً فَتَمَعَّكْتُ تَمَعُّكَ الدَّابَّةِ فَأَتَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرْتُهُ بِذَلِكَ فَقَالَ «إِنَّمَا كَانَ يُجْزِيكَ مِنْ ذَلِكَ التَّيَمُّمِ»

✧ I became junub while I was with the camels and could not find water, so I rolled in the dust like an animal rolls, then I came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and told him that, and he said: “Tayammum would have sufficed you for that.”
