أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ الْأَزْرَقُ عَنْ زَكَرِيَّا عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ
كَانَ بِلَالٌ يَأْتِي النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَيُؤْذِنُهُ لِصَلَاةِ الْغَدَاةِ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ «فَيَغْتَسِلُ ثُمَّ يَأْتِي الْمَسْجِدَ فَيُصَلِّي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ وَرَأْسُهُ يَقْطُرُ مِنَ الْجَنَابَةِ ثُمَّ يَصُومُ ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمَ»

✧ Bilal used to come to the Prophet ﷺ and inform him of the dawn prayer while he was in a state of major ritual impurity. Then he would perform ghusl, come to the mosque, pray the two rak'ahs with his head dripping from major ritual impurity, then fast that day.
