2954 2956 أَخْبَرَنِي شُعَيْبُ بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ وَهُوَ ابْنُ سَعْدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ قَالَ

حَدَّثَتْنِي عَائِشَةُ وَأَمُّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «يُدْرِكُهُ الْفَجْرُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ مِنْ بَعْضِ أَهْلِهِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ وَيَصُومُ يَوْمَهُ ذَلِكَ» خَالَفَهُ قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ

✧ Aisha and Umm Salama narrated to me. They said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be overtaken by dawn while he was in a state of major ritual impurity from one of his wives, then he would perform the full ablution and fast that day. Qutayba b. Sa'id contradicted him.
