أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَيْوَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعَيْبُ بْنُ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ هِشَامٍ أَنَّ أَبَاهُ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ الْحَارِثِ أَخْبَرَ مَرْوَانَ بْنَ الْحَكَمِ

أَنَّ أُمَّ سَلَمَةَ وَعَائِشَةَ زَوْجَتَيِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتَاهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «كَانَ يُدْرِكُهُ الْفَجْرُ وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ مِنْ أَهْلِهِ ثُمَّ يَغْتَسِلُ فَيَصُومُ»

✧ That Umm Salama and Aisha, the two wives of the Prophet ﷺ, informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to be overtaken by dawn while he was in a state of major ritual impurity from his wives, then he would perform the full ablution and fast.
