✧ Prohibition of fasting on the days of Tashreeq, and mentioning the differences of the narrators regarding this difference on Sulaiman bin Yassar.

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بَلَغَنِي عَنِ ابْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ مَخْرَمَةَ بْنِ بُكَيْرٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْحَكَمَ الزُّرَقِيَّ يَقُولُ حَدَّثَتْنِي أُمِّي أَنَّهُمْ كَانُوا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ بِمِنًى فَسَمِعُوا رَاكِبًا يَصْرُخُ يَقُولُ «أَلَا لَا يَصُومَنَّ أَحَدٌ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَا عُلِّمْتُ أَنَّ أَحَدًا تَابَعَ مَخْرَمَةَ عَلَى هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَلَى الْحَكَمِ الزُّرَقِيِّ وَالصَّوَابُ مَسْعُودُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ

✧ He heard al-Hakam al-Zuraqi saying: My mother told me that they were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ at Mina when they heard a rider shouting: “Indeed, no one should fast, for they are days of eating and drinking.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said: I do not know that anyone agreed with Makhramah on this hadith from al-Hakam al-Zuraqi; the correct is Mas'ud b. al-Hakam.
