al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 2889

✧ Prohibition of fasting on the days of Tashreeq, and mentioning the differences of the narrators regarding this difference on Sulaiman bin Yassar.

أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَبَّاسُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَبِي النَّضْرِ وَعَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي بَكْرٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ حُذَافَةَ

أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ «أَمْرَهُ أَنْ يُنَادِيَ فِي أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ إِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ أَكْلٍ وَشُرْبٍ» أَرْسَلَهُ مَالِكٌ

✧ The Prophet ﷺ “commanded him to call out during the days of Tashreeq that they are days of eating and drinking.” Malik narrated it as mursal.
