Fasting Six days of Shawwal

أَخْبَرَنَا الرَّبِيعُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ أَبِي أَسْمَاءَ الرَّحَبِيِّ عَنْ ثَوْبَانَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ «صِيَامُ شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ بِعَشَرَةِ أَشْهُرٍ وَصِيَامُ سِتَّةِ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ شَوَّالٍ بِشَهْرَيْنِ فَذَلِكَ صِيَامُ سَنَةٍ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Fasting the month of Ramaḍān is equivalent to ten months, and fasting six days of Shawwāl is equivalent to two months, so that is fasting a whole year.”
