✧ Ubayy: A Bedouin came to the Prophet ﷺ with a hare that he had roasted and some bread, and placed it before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Then he said: "I found blood on it." The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "It does not matter; eat." And he said to the Bedouin: "Eat." He said: "I am fasting." He said: "Fasting what?" He said: "Fasting three days of the month." He said: "If you are fasting, then you should observe the bright white days: the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth." Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Ibn Abi Layla has a poor memory, and the correct version is from Abu Dharr. It seems that "Dharr" fell from the writing and was read as "Ubayy," and Allah knows best.
