أَخْبَرَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ زُرَارَةَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ وَهُوَ عِنْدَ عُثْمَانَ فَقَالَ

عُثْمَانُ خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَلَى يَعْنِي فِتْيةٍ فَقَالَ «مَنْ كَانَ مِنْكُمْ ذَا طَوْلٍ فَلْيَتَزَوَّجْ فَإِنَّهُ أَغَضُّ لِلطَّرْفِ وَأَحْصَنُ لِلْفَرْجِ وَمَنْ لَا فَالصَّوْمُ لَهُ وِجَاءٌ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ أَبُو مَعْشَرٍ هَذَا اسْمُهُ زِيَادُ بْنُ كُلَيْبٍ ثِقَةٌ وَهُوَ صَاحِبُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ رَوَى عَنْهُ مَنْصُورٌ وَمُغِيرَةُ وَشُعْبَةُ وَأَبُو مَعْشَرٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ اسْمُهُ نَجِيحٌ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَمَعَ ضَعْفِهِ أَيْضًا كَانَ قَدِ اخْتَلَطَ وعِنْدَهُ أَحَادِيثُ مَنَاكِيرُ مِنْهَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَا بَيْنَ الْمَشْرِقِ وَالْمَغْرِبِ قِبْلَةٌ» ومنها هشام بن عروة عن أبيه عن عائشة عن النبي ﷺ لا تقطعوا اللحم بالسكين ولكن انهسوه نهسا وغير ذلك

✧ Uthman: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to, meaning, a group of young men and said: "Whoever among you has the means, let him marry, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding chastity. And whoever does not, then fasting is a shield for him." Abu 'Abd al-Rahman said: This Abu Ma'shar, his name is Ziyad b. Kulayb, and he is trustworthy. He is the companion of Ibrahim. Mansur, Mughirah, and Shu'bah narrated from him. And Abu Ma'shar al-Madani, his name is Najih, and he is weak. And along with his weakness, he had also become confused. He has rejected hadiths, among them: Muhammad b. 'Amr, from Abu Salamah, from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "Between the east and the west is a qiblah." And among them: Hisham b. 'Urwah, from his father, from 'A'ishah, from the Prophet ﷺ: "Do not cut meat with a knife, but gnaw it with your teeth," and other such reports.
