أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي النَّضْرُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ أَنَّهُ لَقِيَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالَ حَدِّثْنِي أَفْضَلَ شَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ يُذْكَرُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَقَالَ أَبُو سَلَمَةَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ

عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ أَنَّهُ ذَكَرَ رَمَضَانَ فَفَضَّلَهُ عَلَى الشُّهُورِ وَقَالَ «مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا خَرَجَ مِنْ ذُنُوبِهِ كَيَوْمِ وَلَدَتْهُ أُمُّهُ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا غَلَطٌ وَالصَّوَابُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ ذِكْرُنَا لَهُ 2530 أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شُميلٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْقَاسِمُ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ شَيْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ فَذَكَرَ مِثْلَهُ وَقَالَ «مَنْ صَامَهُ وَقَامَهُ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا»

✧ From the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he mentioned Ramadan and gave it precedence over all months, and said: “Whoever stands (in prayer) during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, he will come out of his sins as on the day his mother gave birth to him.” Abu Abd al-Rahman said: This is a mistake, and the correct version is what we mentioned earlier. 2530 Ishaq b. Ibrahim informed us, he said: al-Nadr b. Shumayl informed us, he said: al-Qasim b. al-Fadl narrated to us, he said: al-Nadr b. Shayban narrated to us, from Abu Salamah, and he mentioned the same, and said: “Whoever fasts it and stands (in prayer) during it out of faith and seeking reward.”
