✧ The reward of the one who observes Ramadan with faith and seeking reward, and the mention of the disagreement regarding al-Zuhri in the narration about that.

أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَبَلَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْمُعَافَى قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ رَاشِدٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ

أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَخْبَرَتْهُ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ يُرَغِّبُ النَّاسَ فِي قِيَامِ رَمَضَانَ مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَأْمُرَهُمْ بِعَزِيمَةِ أَمْرٍ فِيهِ فَيَقُولُ «مَنْ قَامَ رَمَضَانَ إِيمَانًا وَاحْتِسَابًا غُفِرَ لَهُ مَا تَقَدَّمَ مِنْ ذَنْبِهِ»

✧ Aisha, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, informed him that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to encourage the people to stand in prayer during Ramadan without commanding them to do so as an obligatory matter, saying: Whoever stands in prayer during Ramadan out of faith and seeking reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.
