أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «الشَّهْرُ هَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا وَهَكَذَا» يَعْنِي تِسْعَةً وَعِشْرِينَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ رَوَاهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْسَلٌ

Translation

Chain of narrators

  2. ʿAbdullāh
  3. Ismāʿīl
  4. Muḥammad b. Saʿd from his father

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'The month is like this, and like this, and like this,' meaning twenty-nine. Abu Abd al-Rahman said: Yahya b. Sa'id and others narrated it from Ismail, from Muhammad b. Sa'd, from the Prophet ﷺ as mursal.
