✧ The obligation of zakat al-fitr on Muslims excluding the non-Muslims.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَهْضَمٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ نَافِعٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
«فَرَضَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَى الْحُرِّ وَالْعَبْدِ وَالذَّكَرِ وَالْأُنْثَى وَالصَّغِيرِ وَالْكَبِيرِ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَأَمَرَ بِهَا أَنْ تُؤَدَّى قَبْلَ خُرُوجِ النَّاسِ إِلَى الصَّلَاةِ»

✧ “The Messenger of Allah ﷺ made obligatory the zakat of breaking the fast: a sa' of dates or a sa' of barley upon the free and the slave, the male and the female, the young and the old, among the Muslims, and he ordered that it be paid before the people go out to the prayer.”
