al-Sunan al-Kubra (al-Nasa'i) 2294

✧ The obligation of zakat al-fitr on Muslims excluding the non-Muslims.

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ أَبُو الْحَارِثِ الْمِصْرِيُّ وَالْحَارِثُ بْنُ مِسْكِينٍ قِرَاءَةً عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا أَسْمَعُ وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ عَنِ ابْنِ الْقَاسِمِ عَنْ مَالِكٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ «فَرَضَ زَكَاةَ الْفِطْرِ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ عَلَى النَّاسِ صَاعًا مِنْ تَمْرٍ أَوْ صَاعًا مِنْ شَعِيرٍ عَلَى كُلِّ حُرٍّ أَوْ عَبْدٍ ذَكَرٍ أَوْ أُنْثَى مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ “made obligatory the zakat of breaking the fast of Ramadan upon the people: a sa' of dates or a sa' of barley upon every free person or slave, male or female, among the Muslims.”
