أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ مَالِكٍ وَمُغِيرَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «كُلُّ بَنِي آدَمَ» وَفِي حَدِيثِ مُغِيرَةَ «كُلُّ ابْنِ آدَمَ يَأْكُلُهُ يَعْنِي التُّرَابَ إِلَّا عَجْبَ الذَّنَبِ مِنْهُ خُلِقَ وَفِيهِ يُرَكَّبُ»

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'All of the children of Adam'—and in the hadith of Mughirah: 'Every son of Adam is eaten by the earth except the coccyx, from which he was created and upon which he will be reassembled.'
