✧ The Punishment of the Grave

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ شُعْبَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ الْبَرَاءِ عَنْ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ قَالَ

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ بَعْدَمَا غَرَبَتِ الشَّمْسُ فَسَمِعَ صَوْتًا فَقَالَ يَهُودُ تُعَذَّبُ فِي قُبُورِهَا

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out after the sun had set, and he heard a sound, so he said: "Jews are being punished in their graves."
