أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ أَنَّ عَمْرَو بْنَ شُعَيْبٍ كَتَبَ إِلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي حُسَيْنٍ يُعَزِّيهِ بِابْنٍ لَهُ هَلَكَ فَذَكَرَ فِي كِتَابِهِ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَاهُ شُعَيْبَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ جَدِّهِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي قَالَ
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِنَّ اللهَ لَا يَرْضَى لِعَبْدِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ إِذَا ذَهَبَ بِصَفِيِّهِ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ فَصَبَرَ وَاحْتَسَبَ وَقَالَ مَا أَمَرَهُ اللهُ بِثَوَابٍ دُونَ الْجَنَّةِ قَالَ لَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ وَهُمْ ثَلَاثَةُ إِخْوَةٍ عَمْرٌو وَعُمَرُ وَشُعَيْبُ بَنُو شُعَيْبَ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Allah is not pleased for His believing servant, when He takes his chosen one from the people of the earth, if he is patient and seeks reward and says what Allah has commanded him, with any reward less than Paradise." Abu Abd al-Rahman said to us: Amr b. Shu'ayb b. Muhammad b. Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As, and they are three brothers: Amr, Umar, and Shu'ayb, the sons of Shu'ayb.
