أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَائِشَةَ
أَنَّ أَبَا بَكْرٍ دَخَلَ عَلَيْهَا أَيَّامَ مِنًى وَعِنْدَهَا جَارِيَتَانِ تُغَنِّيَانِ وَتَضْرِبَانِ بِدُفَّيْنِ وَرَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ مُسَجًّى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ الثَّوْبُ لَا يَأْمُرُهُنَّ وَلَا يَنْهَاهُنَّ فَنَهَرَهُنَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «دَعْهُنَّ يَا أَبَا بَكْرٍ فَإِنَّهَا أَيَّامُ عِيدٍ»

✧ That Abū Bakr entered upon her during the days of Minā while she had two young girls singing and beating two duffs, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was covered with the cloth over his face, not commanding them nor forbidding them, so Abū Bakr rebuked them. Then the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Leave them, O Abū Bakr, for these are the days of Eid.”
