أَخْبَرَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا شَرِيكٌ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ
جَالَسْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ يَخْطُبُ إِلَّا قَائِمًا ثُمَّ يَجْلِسُ ثُمَّ يَقُومُ فَيَخْطُبُ الْخُطْبَةَ الْآخِرَةَ
Translation

✧ I sat with the Prophet ﷺ, and I never saw him deliver a khutbah except standing. Then he would sit, then stand and deliver the second khutbah.
