✧ The command to perform ablution from impurity.

أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَطَاءِ عَنْ عَائِشِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ أَنَّ عَلِيًّا قَالَ

كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً فَأَمَرْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ يَسْأَلُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ مِنْ أَجْلِ ابْنَتِهِ عِنْدِي فَقَالَ «يَكْفِي مِنْ ذَلِكَ الْوُضُوءُ»

✧ I was a man who emitted madhy frequently, so I instructed Ammar b. Yasir to ask the Prophet ﷺ because of his daughter being my wife. He said, "Ablution suffices for that."
