أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ قَالَ أَمْلَى عَلَيَّ يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْأَيْلِيُّ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ عَنْ عُرْوَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَبْدٍ الْقَارِيِّ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا نَزَلَ عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ يُسْمَعُ عِنْدَهُ دَوِيٌّ كَدَوِيِّ النَّحْلِ فَمَكَثْنَا سَاعَةً فَاسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ وَرَفَعَ يَدَيْهِ وَقَالَ «اللهُمَّ زِدْنَا وَلَا تَنْقُصْنَا وَأَكْرِمْنَا وَلَا تُهِنَّا وَلَا تُخْزِنَا وَآثِرْنَا وَلَا تُؤْثِرْ عَلَيْنَا وَأَرْضِنَا وَارْضَ عَنَّا» ثُمَّ قَالَ «لَقَدْ أُنْزِلَتْ عَلَيَّ عَشْرُ آيَاتٍ مَنْ أَقَامَهُنَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ ثُمَّ قَرَأَ قَدْ أَفْلَحَ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ الَّذِينَ هُمْ فِي صَلَاتِهِمْ خَاشِعُونَ» قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ مُنْكَرٌ لَا نَعْلَمُ أَحَدًا رَوَاهُ غَيْرَ يُونُسَ بْنِ سُلَيْمٍ وَيُونُسُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ لَا نَعْرِفُهُ وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ

✧ I heard ʿUmar b. al-Khaṭṭāb say: When revelation descended upon the Messenger of God ﷺ, a buzzing like the buzzing of bees was heard near him. We waited for a while, then he faced the qiblah and raised his hands, saying, “O God, increase us and do not decrease us; honor us and do not humiliate us; do not disgrace us; prefer us and do not prefer others over us; satisfy us and be pleased with us.” Then he said, “Ten verses have been revealed to me; whoever establishes them will enter Paradise.” Then he recited: “The believers have succeeded, those who are humble in their prayers.” Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān said: This is a rejected hadith. We do not know anyone who narrated it other than Yūnus b. Sulaym, and Yūnus b. Sulaym is unknown to us. And God knows best.
