أَخْبَرَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَاصِمِ بْنِ ضَمْرَةَ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ
«لَيْسَ الْوِتْرُ بِحَتْمٍ مِثْلَ الْمَكْتُوبَةِ وَلَكِنَّهَا سُنَّةٌ سَنَّهَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ»
