أَخْبَرَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ وَالْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ كَعْبٍ الْأَسْلَمِيِّ قَالَ
كُنْتُ أَبِيتُ عِنْدَ حُجْرَةِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَكُنْتُ أَسْمَعُهُ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ يَقُولُ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ» الْهَوِيَّ ثُمَّ يَقُولُ «سُبْحَانَ اللهِ وَبِحَمْدِهِ» الْهَوِيَّ

✧ I used to spend the night near the room of the Prophet ﷺ, and I would hear him when he arose at night saying, “Glory be to Allah, Lord of the worlds,” for a long time, then saying, “Glory be to Allah, and with His praise,” for a long time.
