أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ عُمَارَةَ عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ
عَبْدُ اللهِ «لَا يَجْعَلَنَّ أَحَدُكُمُ لِلشَّيْطَانِ مِنْ نَفْسِهِ جُزْءًا يَرَى أَنَّ حَقًّا عَلَيْهِ أَنْ لَا يَنْصَرِفُ إِلَّا عَنْ يَمِينِهِ لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَكْثَرَ انْصِرَافِهِ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ»

✧ Abdullah said: "Let none of you give the devil a share of himself, thinking that it is a duty upon him to leave only from his right side. I have seen the Messenger of Allah ﷺ leave from his left side more often."
