أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ أَبُو زُرْعَةَ الرَّازِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ يُونُسَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ عِيَاضٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ أَبِي رَوَّادٍ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ رَأَى فِيمَا يَرَى النَّائِمُ قِيلَ لَهُ بِأَيِّ شَيْءٍ أَمَرَكُمْ نَبِيُّكُمْ ﷺ؟ قَالَ أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نُسَبِّحَ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَنَحْمَدُ ثَلَاثًا وَثَلَاثِينَ وَنُكَبِّرَ أَرْبَعًا وَثَلَاثِينَ فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ قَالَ «سَبِّحُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَاحْمَدُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَكَبَّرُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ وَهَلِّلُوا خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ فَتِلْكَ مِائَةٌ» فَلَمَّا أَصْبَحَ ذَكَرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «افْعَلُوا كَمَا قَالَ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ»

✧ A man from the Ansar saw in a dream, in the manner of one who sees in sleep, and it was said to him: "With what did your Prophet ﷺ command you?" He said: "He commanded us to glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and magnify Him thirty-four times, making one hundred." He said: "Glorify twenty-five times, praise twenty-five times, magnify twenty-five times, and declare tahlil twenty-five times, making one hundred." When morning came, he mentioned that to the Prophet ﷺ, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do as the Ansari said."
