أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنَ سُلَيْمَانَ الْمُجَالِدِيُّ قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا مُغِيرَةُ وَذَكَرَ آخَرَ وَأَخْبَرَنَا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمْ مُغِيرَةُ عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ عَنْ وَرَّادٍ كَاتِبِ الْمُغِيرَةِ بْنِ شُعْبَةَ أَنَّ مُعَاوِيَةَ كَتَبَ إِلَى الْمُغِيرَةِ
أَنِ اكْتُبْ إِلَيَّ بِحَدِيثٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ فَكَتَبَ إِلَيْهِ الْمُغِيرَةُ إِنِّي سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ عِنْدَ انْصِرَافِهِ مِنَ الصَّلَاةِ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ» ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

✧ He asked him to write to him a hadith he had heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Al-Mughirah wrote to him: I heard him say when he finished the prayer: 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is capable of all things,' three times.
