أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ الْمَرْوَذِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ يَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَلَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ أَهْلُ النِّعْمَةِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ»

✧ I heard 'Abdullah b. al-Zubayr narrating on this pulpit, saying: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the salam, he would say: 'There is no god but Allah, alone, without partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is capable of all things. There is no power nor strength except with Allah. There is no god but Allah, and we worship none but Him. To Him belong blessings, bounty, and beautiful praise. There is no god but Allah, making the religion sincerely His, even if the disbelievers detest it.'
