عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيل بْن مَسْعُود عَنْ يَزِيد بْن زُرَيْع عَنْ مَعْمَر عَنْ الزُّهْرِي عَنْ سَعِيد بْن الْمُسَيِّب عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُول الله ﷺ إِذَا قَالَ الْإِمَام {غَيْر الْمَغْضُوب عَلَيْهِم وَلَا الضآلين} فَقُولُوا آمِين فَإِن الْمَلَائِكَة تَقُول آمِين وَإِن الْإِمَام يَقُول آمِين فَمَن وَافَق تَأْمِينُه تَأْمِين الْمَلَائِكَة غَفَر لَه مَا تَقَدَّم مِنْ ذَنْبِه

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "When the imam says, {not of those who earned anger nor of those who went astray}, say 'Amen,' for the angels say 'Amen,' and the imam says 'Amen,' and whoever's saying of 'Amen' coincides with the saying of 'Amen' by the angels, his past sins will be forgiven."
