عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ يَحْيَى عَنْ بَشِيرِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ أَبِي حَثْمَةَ
«أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ نَهَى عَن بَيْعِ الثَّمَرِ حَتَّى يَبْدُو صَلَاحُهُ وَرَخَّصَ فِي الْعَرَايَا أَنْ تُبَاعَ بِخَرْصِهَا يَأْكُلُهَا أَهْلُهَا رُطَبًا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ forbade selling fruit until its ripeness was apparent, and he permitted the sale of 'arāyā by estimating their amount on the tree, so that their owners could eat them as fresh dates.
