عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ رَافِعٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ مَطَرٍ الْوَرَّاقِ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ

عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ قَالَ «مَنْ بَاعَ عَبْدًا فَمَالُهُ لِلْبَائِعِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ وَمَنْ بَاعَ نَخْلًا فِيهَا ثَمَرَةٌ قَدْ أُبِّرَتْ فَثَمَرَتُهَا لِلْبَائِعِ إِلَّا أَنْ يَشْتَرِطَ الْمُبْتَاعُ» وَقَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَطَرُ بْنُ طَهْمَانَ ضَعِيفٌ

Translation

✧ From the Prophet ﷺ: “Whoever sells a slave, the slave’s property belongs to the seller unless the buyer stipulates it. And whoever sells palm trees that have been pollinated, their fruit belongs to the seller unless the buyer stipulates it.” Abu ‘Abd al-Rahman said: Matar b. Tahman is weak.
