✧ What should a person do if they accidentally skipped two units of prayer and spoke?

أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا سَلَمَةَ يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى الظُّهْرَ رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَقَالُوا أَقَصُرَتِ الصَّلَاةُ فَقَامَ «فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ ثُمَّ سَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed Zuhr as two units and then gave the salutation. They said: Has the prayer been shortened? So he stood up and prayed two units, then gave the salutation, then prostrated twice.
