أَخْبَرَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ إِذَا دَخَلَ أَهْلُ الْجَنَّةِ الْجَنَّةَ وَأَهْلُ النَّارِ النَّارَ أُتِيَ بِالْمَوْتِ مُلَبَّبًا فَيُوقَفُ عَلَى السُّورِ الَّذِي بَيْنَ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ وَأَهْلِ النَّارِ فَيُذْبَحُ ذَبْحًا عَلَى السُّورِ ثُمَّ يُقَالُ يَا أَهْلَ الْجَنَّةِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ وَيَا أَهْلَ النَّارِ خُلُودٌ لَا مَوْتَ مُخْتَصَرٌ

✧ that the Messenger of God ﷺ said, “When the people of Paradise enter Paradise and the people of the Fire enter the Fire, Death will be brought, grasped by the forelock, and stood upon the wall between the people of Paradise and the people of the Fire. Then it will be slaughtered upon the wall. Then it will be said, ‘O people of Paradise, eternity, no death; O people of the Fire, eternity, no death.’” Abbreviated.
