أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْأَعْلَى عَنْ خَالِدٍ وَهُوَ ابْنُ الْحَارِثِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْمَرٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
انْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ شِقَّتَيْنِ شِقَّةٌ فَوْقَ الْجَبَلِ وَشِقَّةٌ سَتَرَهَا الْجَبَلُ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ «اللهُمَّ اشْهَدْ»

✧ The moon was split during the time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ into two halves: one half above the mountain and the other half concealed by the mountain. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “O Allāh, bear witness.”
