أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ عَنْ ضَمْرَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِي وَاقِدٍ اللَّيْثِيِّ قَالَ
سَأَلَنِي عُمَرُ عَمَّا قَرَأَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي صَلَاةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ فَقُلْتُ {اقْتَرَبَتِ السَّاعَةُ وَانْشَقَّ الْقَمَرُ} [القمر 1] وَ {ق وَالْقُرْآنِ الْمَجِيدِ} [ق 1]

✧ Omar asked me what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ recited during the prayers of the two Eids, so I said, "{The Hour has come near, and the moon has split} [Al-Qamar, verse 1]" and "{Qaf. By the honored Qur'an} [Qaf, verse 1]"
