أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنِ الْحَجَّاجِ بْنِ أَبِي عُثْمَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ يُحَدِّثُ عَلَى هَذَا الْمِنْبَرِ وَهُوَ يَقُولُ كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ إِذَا سَلَّمَ يَقُولُ «لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ لَا نَعْبُدُ إِلَّا إِيَّاهُ أَهْلُ النِّعْمَةِ وَالْفَضْلِ وَالثَّنَاءِ الْحَسَنِ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ مُخْلِصِينَ لَهُ الدِّينَ وَلَوْ كَرِهَ الْكَافِرُونَ»

✧ I heard ʿAbd Allāh b. al-Zubayr narrating on this pulpit, saying: When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said the taslīm, he would say: “There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is capable of everything. There is no power and no strength except with Allah. There is no god but Allah; we worship none but Him. To Him belong grace, bounty, and excellent praise. There is no god but Allah, making the religion purely His, even if the disbelievers hate it.”
