✧ I was with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the mosque at sunset, and he said: 'Do you know where the sun goes when it sets?' I said: 'Allah and His Messenger know best.' He said: 'It goes until it ends up beneath the Throne, at its Lord, then it asks permission, and permission is granted to it. Soon it will ask permission and not be granted it, and it will seek intercession and make a request. When that is said, it will be told: Rise from your place. That is His saying: {And the sun runs to its resting place} [Ya Sin: 38].'
